At Wolcott Farms, we offer guided horseback riding for you, your family and friends! Our tours are perfect for riders of all levels of experience- beginners to advanced equestrians. Led by an experienced tour guide, your horseback trail ride will allow you to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wyoming County. The rides are $80 a person for an hour. You will spend 20-30 minutes in the arena learning the fundamentals of riding and then we will head out on the trail for about a 30-40 minute ride. The terrain is not flat on the trails, you will be going up and down hills most of the ride. After your ride you are welcome to pick up speed with your horse and trot around the arena.

At Wolcott Farms, one of our favorite pastimes is a wonderful wagon or sleigh ride! Wyoming County offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Western New York, and what better way to tour the area than in a horse-drawn wagon or sled! Rides run all year round, so if you are looking for a fun family activity or a romantic adventure come to Wolcott Farms.
Sleigh Rides are in the winter so warm clothing is advised. Although our sleigh team normally works in the snow, if Mother Nature does not cooperate and does not provide snow for sleigh conditions, Wolcott Farms also has an Amish made black walnut two seated wagon available.
The romantic atmosphere is like no other, and you may even choose to use Wolcott Farm’s wagon or sleigh rides to ask that special someone to spend the rest of their lives with you. It is certainly a proposal your loved one will brag about and remember forever!
