Riding Lessons
Lessons are available for beginners to advanced riders. We teach our students about not only the care of the animal and the preparation that goes into every ride, with a strong focus on maintaining safety for you and your horse. Our lesson programs are aimed at creating future horse owners.
Wolcott Farms offers either one time lessons or packages, perfect for both the competitive or recreational rider. Whether you are interested in western riding or English riding, we make sure you enjoy your riding experience. With our indoor and outdoor arenas, you are able to ride year round.
Wolcott Farms is home to a large herd of lesson horses, ranging from beginner safe to more advanced. We always push our riders to ride different horses every lesson so they can test their skills and become a great rider. We also encourage current horse owners to bring their own horses. Taking lessons at Wolcott Farm allows riders to update their skills and strengthen the bonds they have between the horse and themselves. Our lessons are $50 per person for an hour for a group, $65 per person for 1 hour semi private, or a private lesson is $75 per person for 1 hour. Children as young as 4 can take lessons.

Integrated Riding Program
The goal of Wolcott Farms integrated riding program is for various abilities to learn how to ride horses in a safe and fun environment, while experiencing the benefits of coordination, balance, flexibility and increased muscle strength.
All ages are students start out in a quiet and safe environment as they build their skills.

We also offer sleigh/wagon ride lessons for $160 for a 30 minute ride and instructional guided horseback lessons for $85 a person.
Lesson Membership
If you love riding and want to ride more than once a week our membership might be for you! it includes (2) one hour lessons a week plus a “free” ride once a week. You can choose a specific horse you would like to ride or it can always be different. This is a great way to get extra riding time and spend more time in the barn with the horses. Memberships are $400 a month.
Driving Lessons
Have you always wanted to learn how to drive a horse or even a team of horses? Now you can at Wolcott Farms. We offer driving lessons that start with the basics of how to properly harness and ground drive and then advance to how to hook a horse up to the cart. You will have the opportunity to drive a single horse and then move to a team of horses. Safety is our number one concern. We will teach you how to navigate roads so that you can fully enjoy your driving experience. Our driving lessons are $80 per person for an hour and a half lesson.

About Us
Wolcott Farms is a family owned business that has been around for over 20 years and is nestled away on 48 acres of gorgeous Wyoming County countryside. The farm has expanded quite a bit over the years, and we have dipped our foot into many different activities. Wolcott Farms Maple production is at an all time high and continuously expanding, while our horse training facility and business is growing as well. The maple and horse businesses are our main attractions, and keep us busy 365 days a year!
