Wolcott Farms is centrally located in Wyoming County, Warsaw NY between Buffalo New York & Rochester W.N.Y. near Letchworth State Park. We offer public horse riding in Western New York. Enjoy a peaceful view and the sounds of mother nature in the saddle of a well trained horse, and a guide that will help you enjoy your visit. Our instructional horseback rides have beautiful trails that a wait you. Natural sugar maple woods and hemlocks. Watch for wildlife that may wander through at that time of riding. We have seen deer, coyotes, owl, fox, squirrels to name a few. Amish made horse-drawn bob sleigh or wagon accommodate up to 6-8 people. Great for family ride. We need perfect snow conditions to run this sleigh, frozen ground and nice snow base. Large groups can be occupied back at barn while others out on ride, we have something for everyone to do. We also can furnish you a bonfire and grill for that extra FUN!!
We specialize in Tennessee Walking Horses and Percheron Draft horses, Warm bloods, Spotted Draft Horses, Draft crosses, foals and just great trail family horses. All of our horses are exposed to traffic, wooden bridges and being loaded in horse trailers. We desensitize with tarps and jugs hanging off saddles. We even shoot a gun off their back's while sitting in the saddle.
