Letchworth State Park, located in Western New York, is named for William Pryor Letchworth, who deeded 1,000 of the parks 14,350 acres. The Genesee River snakes it's way north through gorges up to 600 feet high and over three waterfalls ranging from 70 to 107 feet high.
